What is Kingdom Kids?
Kingdom Kids is for children in first-fifth grades. We work on vocal exercises, learn basic rhythm, sing, play rhythm instruments and handbells, but most importantly, we learn to WORSHIP!! My goal is for children to learn how to worship God in spirit and in truth! To teach them how to express their love for God through their singing and share that with others!
Kingdom Kids begins Wednesday, August 30, and runs through March. *We do have off a couple weeks in December, and we are off from Easter – the middle of August!
Rehearsals are Wednesdays
Our kick-off is Wednesday, August 30 and is from 6:30-8 PM
Then our regular rehearsal times are Wednesday’s from 5:45-6:30 PM right before Kids Connect!!! To work on our music for the Christmas program, we will have extended rehearsals when there isn’t Kids Connect. (You will receive a complete schedule once you register & weekly announcements with all the information you need)
Kingdom Kids sing monthly in the 10:30 AM Sunday worship service, and they will be doing a special Christmas musical (acting and singing) for our annual Christmas Programs, and they do special selections for the Palm Sunday services.
Our second half of the year I would like to see if the Kingdom Kids can do a service project and sing at Fahrney Keedy Home & Village and Menno Haven.
