Upward Sports is a recreational based sports ministry. With the emphasis on character, team work and discipleship it is not your typical youth sports organization. There are devotions led by the coaches at every practice and local teachers and pastors share lessons at halftime of the Saturday competitions.
This is one of Maugansville Church's biggest Outreach into the community.
We offer two different Upward Sports seasons at Maugansville Church.
Flag Football & Cheerleading
Who: K4--8th grade
When: Registration starts July, Practices begin in August, Games played in September & October
What: ONE practice during the week and ONE game on Saturday
Where: The Fields in front of Maugansville Elementary School
Basketball
Who: K4--12th grade
When: Registration starts October, Practices begin in December, Games played in January & February
What: ONE practice during the week and ONE game on Saturday
Where: Maugansville Church & Maugansville Elementary School
